Your Team responsibilities.

This position will report to the Finance IT head, in Business Technology department at MSCI. The key areas of focus for this team are to partner with the Finance Stakeholders and provide technology solutions to business issues/projects. The team plans, designs, develops and launches efficient SAP system solutions in support of MSCI organizational functions and business processes.

Your key responsibilities

  • Knowledge and Experience

  • Solid SAP configuration experience for Sales and Distribution module specifically around sales orders and contracts, billing, pricing, and business partners

  • Good understanding of SAP landscape and architecture

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

  • Excellent project management skills with strong ability to prioritize

  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Process Design and Configuration

  • Work with business users to define requirements for new or enhanced system functionality

  • Lead design sessions to determine solutions to meet stated business requirements

  • Document and secure design approval

  • Review and analyze existing system functionality, develop strategies to improve and optimize

Operational Management

  • Lead team of individuals that provide analytical and system development support

  • Configure SAP SD functions to meet identified business requirements

  • Document solution designs: functional specifications, diagrams, screen layouts to provide direct to system developers

  • Build guidebooks and training documentation for the relevant system enhancements

  • Provide end-user training

  • Support unit, system, and end-user testing
