Position Summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant at our Denver Midtown location.

The successful candidate will:

  • Escort patient to and from exam room, physician office, and treatment room
  • Record patient data prior to each physician visit
  • Obtain all necessary patient records as required by the physician and verify presence of consent prior to treatment or procedures
  • Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms
  • Assist physician with exams and procedures as requested
  • Obtain blood specimens from peripheral sites as needed
  • Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
  • Process instruments and equipment as needed
  • Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by physician
  • Obtain new patient records and previous test results, x-rays, scans, etc


High school graduate or equivalent. Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical

Assistants required. Minimum two years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
