The Creative Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining the visual identity of SnapAV, our brands, and lead the team's overall design output. This position requires developing solutions that meet the needs and goals established by key stakeholders while working across multiple levels, thinking strategically while breaking down the vision into effective deliverables. This individual will develop a visual strategy consistent with the overall messaging and storytelling of marketing campaigns and initiatives, crafting it in a digestible way for all target audiences. The Creative Director should engage and motivate while providing evaluative judgment and feedback to the creative team. This position should demonstrate genuine curiosity, passion, integrity, energy, and creative risk taking while overseeing a team of creatives.


Responsibilities



  • Champion and drive the visual identity of the company, brands, and products
  • Lead production of all visual and design assets, both digital and print, as well as trade show and event signage
  • Manage and develop the design team, including graphic designers, photographers, and videographers
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into clear, design strategies
  • Work with internal product experts and strategic partners to build a cohesive design strategy
  • Lead the visual design process from concept to completion, including reviews, audits, and approvals of creative work
  • Understand industry trends, competitive information, and best practices to develop strategies and tactics to promote SnapAV in compelling and differentiated ways
  • Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met and provide quality control of visual assets across all Partner touchpoints
  • Establish relationships with SnapAV Partners to understand their businesses, personas, and motivators
  • Management of vendor relationships and negotiations
  • Contribute to semi-annual strategic planning sessions to establish goals and objectives

Qualifications


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or relevant field of study
  • 8+ years' experience agency or in-house brand development and management
  • 3+ years' management experience
  • Proven expertise in the development and delivery of impactful marketing communications plans and integrated campaigns
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Xd
  • Knowledge of web best practices and UI/UX design
  • Project management skills with the ability to take projects from inception to completion, and clearly report progress
  • Experience in building and presenting business cases to senior leadership
  • Pricing, spending, and budgeting knowledge
  • Proven ability to translate analytics into insights and recommendations
  • A portfolio that demonstrates previous digital and print work

Preferred Qualifications



  • Master of Business Administration
  • Previous experience within a B2B environment
  • Previous experience within a consumer product industry
  • Previous consumer electronics industry experience
