  • Responsible for a wide variety of office functions necessary for the efficient operation of the assigned office.
  • Administrative expert on all aspect of travel, pay, time and attendance, overtime, special and recurring reports.
  • Serves as the primary interface on all financial matters with the Resource Management Office and the Accounting Chief.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education/experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Experience managing inventory control and property, AND 2) experience tracking financial expenditures in an automated financial management system, AND 3) experience creating various documents such as spreadsheets, forms, charts, reports and power point presentations.

One full academic year of GRADUATE level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as business, management, accounting, economics, operations or organizational management, finance or any other business related field(s) of study. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Time in Grade Requirement: Time-In-Grade requirement must be met no later than 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) Position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade GS-06 (or equivalent).
