Vibra Healthcare/Ernest Health is seeking a Full Time CLINICAL RESOURCE SPECIALIST to join our team!

The Clinical Resource Specialist is responsible for performing a cross section of responsibilities to support the electronic medical record (EMR) system implementation, refinement, and application. This includes but is not limited to, the following:

  • Work as an additional resource to promote appropriate infection control and safety practices throughout the organization.
  • Assists with regulatory compliance in EMR, Infection Control and safety including survey preparedness.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Functions as the EMR subject matter expert including content refinement, system evaluation and reporting capabilities to meet organizational needs.

  • Supports EMR go-live process including onsite troubleshooting and training of end users.

  • Serves as a liaison to the Senior Director of Safety in addressing safety related workplace illnesses and injury trends. Works to promote a safe environment through education, training and facilitating safety program implementation.

  • Assists in clinical survey readiness including assessment, education, and program implementation and responding to regulatory bodies as needed on survey action plans/responses.

  • Assists the Infection Control function as assigned. Infection Control activities may include education, required reporting, auditing, and recommending best practices for implementation.

  • Supports the clinical leadership team as needed regarding the provision of quality care, outcome achievement, and productivity management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related Healthcare field required. Master's degree preferred.

  • Active and unencumbered RN License required.

  • Minimum of five (5) years current experience in healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting.

  • Current, valid, and active driver's license required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Knowledge of EMR systems. Knowlege of WellSky preferred.

  • Prior experience in Worker's Compensation program/claim management preferred.

  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

  • Previous training experience preferred.

  • Ability to engage in interstate (domesting US) travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

  • Demonstrates advanced computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and electronic record management.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.

  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
