As a Software Testing Consultant, you will work as a part of an integrated consulting team to deliver NCR ATM Marketing Solutions, and customized consulting. Your role will be to configure environments, prepare test plans, execute test cases, and coordinate issues and their fixes with implementation and development teams. You will test both ATM software and ATM Marketing server software. You will work with our applications that are hosted in NCR labs and on GCP and Azure Cloud platforms. The role will report to the NCR ATM Marketing Solutions Professional Services Partner.


Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility


As a Software Quality Assurance team member, you will work to test activities for the NCR's ATM Marketing solution and ATM Client applications. The Testing Consultant's (TC) primary objective is working with the Technical Lead and to lead application testing. The TC must communicate precise specifications clearly to internal stakeholders, who are responsible for 'standing up' the application infrastructure. This requires partnering with the engineering, product & professional services teams to validate the installed solution build. Clear communications with the client and internal technical teams are key to successful and quality application delivery.


Specific Responsibilities Include:



  • Run functional testing of ATM & ATM Marketing server software


  • Support End to End Test Delivery for the software platform


  • Planning & execution for the following phases – application integration testing, regression testing & performance testing


  • Participating in solution requirements discovery sessions with the customers and other internal stakeholders and provide guidance on testability and quality


  • Create and follow processes, standards, and practices to develop, test and implement quality assurance operational procedures for use by applicable requirements, development, test, and quality assurance teams


  • Work with multiple teams on need basis to update the application behavior in case of any software updates


  • Update technical publications and manuals providing specification limits and tolerances of key parts along with proper testing tools and measuring processes


  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing data and making recommendations


  • Provide training and technical assistance to new team members / associates if required


  • Responsible for continuous process improvement resulting in improved time

Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience


  • 2 - 4+ years of software testing experience


  • Strong skills in Functional Testing & Test Planning


  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and Waterfall development methodology


  • Hands on work experience with JIRA


  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Excellent communication skills including status and progress reporting, and time management skills


  • Optimistic outlook, results oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable individual

Preferred Qualifications



  • 2 years of experience in hands-on Functional / Non-Functional testing of different ATM Devices including experience on ATM – Security and Monitoring testing activity


  • Proficiency in speaking, reading & writing Spanish


  • Experience with test case management tools like Zephyr


  • Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner
