Purposes


Job Summary:


This Product Mgr (Senior HRIS Analyst) role is a key role to facilitate the HR organization in finalizing implementation of a cloud-based Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Oracle HCM Cloud. Release is scheduled for late 2021. After go-live this role will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and implementing appropriate changes, configuration and processes within the HRIS. This position will act as solutions consultant and will manage complex projects as well as lead business process improvement projects.


Responsibilities



  • Work autonomously and be able to take ownership of product prioritization decisions
  • Work closely with process owners, and other stakeholders to take products ideas from concept to completion
  • Identify, define, and work within the boundaries of configuration to launch, and iterate on features that add value for our customers
  • Understand, prioritize and deliver fixes, features, and functionality from Oracle quarterly releases
  • Create process and training documentation
  • Cross train and back-up other HRIS Analysts on the team
  • Be detail driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Manage budget for each product line supported
  • Translate a larger strategic vision into a concrete, prioritized plan that can be executed on to deliver a Minimum Viable Product and iterative improvements
  • Apply a combination of qualitative and quantitative research, customer understanding, and product intuition to inform decisions and prioritization
  • Partner with HR Communications team to facilitate clear communication and collaboration across all teams and stakeholders
  • Other: Participate in other developmental assignments such as providing backup support for other products and improvement process design & development

Qualifications


Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, HR or related field with 5+ years of experience or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.


Skills:



  • Experience using and managing technology products. Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud a plus
  • Knowledge of and apply the fundamental Human Resource concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience managing products/services and managing business partners
  • Experience defining and documenting work processes
  • Experience developing product communication and marketing materials
  • Experience writing user stories
  • Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

Worthiness Qualification


Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
