Your Impact

Road & Track is seeking a Senior Editor who will be responsible for writing and editing long-form and short features in the print edition and on our website. Topics include new car news, the culture of cars, the collector market, and motorsports. The Senior Editor should have a stable of writers, the capacity to assign and edit stories, write display copy, work comfortably in our CMS, and have a working up-to-date knowledge of SEO practices, web traffic trends, and best practices on pertinent social media platforms.

Reporting to the Executive Editor of Road & Track, the Senior Editor will work alongside the R&T staff to develop feature storytelling in print, online, and in video. This role can be based in NY, CA or MI.

Who You Are

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in digital and magazine media.
  • You have a demonstrated interest in cars, car culture, and knowledge of R&T's vast history.
  • You have experience producing and editing for print and digital publications.
  • You are knowledgeable of what a car enthusiast audience wants to see in print, digital, on video, and beyond.
  • You are a creative thinker willing to push the envelope and bring fresh, innovative ideas to life.
