Mutual of Omaha is looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to join our Departing Well division. In this role, you will assist in developing and implementing digital commerce strategies to drive online engagement and sales, and provide an optimal customer experience. You will also analyze data to identify opportunities to optimize online marketing performance and collaborate with marketers, media managers, designers and developers to build and run A/B, multivariate and dynamic tests.


  • Evaluate Mutual of Omaha's online content and web analytics platforms in order to produce relevant and meaningful reports and dashboards that incorporate data from multiple sources.
  • Partner with marketing and development partners to create test plans for A/B and multivariate tests, build and conduct tests and report out results and next steps.
  • Partner with marketers to develop, implement and QA campaign attribution setup. Perform troubleshooting and analysis on attribution data. Partner with development resources to implement and QA analytics and attribution tags on digital properties.
  • Conduct in depth ad hoc analysis to answer questions and understand user behavior.
  • Evaluate new content and strategies after implementation to determine effectiveness.
  • Develop and design presentations for business leadership in order to review analyses findings and discuss recommendations for next steps on marketing strategy and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop requirements to enhance and expand marketing analytics capabilities.

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in business, marketing, computer science or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred experience with Google Analytics Suite (including Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google Optimize, BigQuery, etc).
  • Understanding of experimental design principles, test vs. control requirements and analysis.
  • Ability to interact successfully with all levels of management and staff.


  • Experience with web development a plus.
