The individual’s key responsibilities will include:

Ensure exceptional service through active oversight of mail and copy center operations across the enterprise in 36 US locations with over 100 contracted employees

Management of Key Supplier relationship to ensure strategic partnership, continuous improvement and excellent customer service

A strong understanding of current supplier contracts and partnership with Global Procurement to ensure supplier performance and contract adherence

Responsible for fiscal oversight of spend, ensuring invoice accuracy and timely payment

Knowledge and awareness of industry trends, relating them to business needs and opportunities

Focus on continuous process improvements and opportunities to optimize and digitize

Complete onsite reviews to ensure processes are compliant with Cigna standards and offices are appropriately staffed

Partner with Global Real Estate on initiatives that impact operations. Visit locations to determine design of space that will best meet business needs.

Oversee equipment lease agreements. Partner with IT to align with the Managed Print Services strategy when addressing lease terms and equipment utilization.

Oversight of fleet vehicles used across the enterprise for mailroom courier service. Ensure number and types of vehicles are appropriate to meet business needs.

Ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place. Timely resolution of operational situations as they arise.

Ensure processes are met and properly documented

Drive strategy and be a Center of Excellence by utilizing influence, collaboration and problem solving to develop solutions

Develop and monitor supplier's progress against key performance indicators. Analyze trends to identify opportunities and drive improvements.

Effectively communicate and build credibility with teammates, matrix partners and suppliers employing a customer-centric approach and mindset

Identify opportunities and drive change to deliver cost effective solutions that also improve the customer experience and mitigate risk

Demonstrate a high level of initiative; excel in self-directing and self-pacing

Face challenges and uncertainty with confidence and assurance

Travel 10-20%


Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of related work experience or 7 years of related experience strongly preferred

10+ years of experience in defining future facing strategies for Operations Management and Procurement including mailroom operations management, copy center management, supplier and contract management, payables

5+ years of experience with Optimization and Process Improvement initiatives

Experience with Digital mail and content management technology Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively; must be able to drive continuous process improvement and decisions

Experience with analyzing data and essential facts to identify opportunities and make decisions

Excellent documentation, communication, and facilitation skills in a teleconference/virtual environment

Strong Microsoft application experience – PowerPoint, Excel and Word
