Position Overview

  • Utility Forklift Operators (LTO I) starting pay is $18.27 per hour, with growth opportunities available after 3 - 6 months of service.

  • LTO II operators starting pay is $20.28 per hour. After 6 months of service pay increases to $21.11, with a top pay rate of $22.43 after 1 year of service

1st Shift openings at our Port Wentworth, GA locations

  • 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Mon - Fri

Requirements:

  • *Warehouse/Distribution Background a Plus*

  • 6+ Months of Forklift experience preferred for Utility positions, required for LTO II positions

  • Ability to lift up to 51lbs repetitively is a must

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • *Must be able to attend training on 1st Shift for the first two weeks of employment

Position Description:

  • LTO II's transport flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping. LTO II's also retrieve hard surface material with their lift truck, build, and wrap pallets per pull task specifications.

  • Utility LTO'smaintain an environmentally clean and safe workplace by performing recycling, cleaning, and floor scrubbing tasks as assigned by management. Daily responsibilities include (but not limited to) checking and emptying trash & recycle bins, replenishing bottled water at water stations, cleaning oil spills, disposing of damaged pallets, refilling gas for lift trucks, maintaining and running floor scrubber, sweeping aisles, and cleaning the sweeper.

  • Maintaining a safe work environment is every associates top priority. Both Utility LTO's and LTO II's are responsible for reporting unsafe storage areas (leaning pallets, damaged walls, etc.) and unsafe working conditions to Supervisors.

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
