AP/AR Assistant

Our client located in Nashville, TN is seeking a AP/AR Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career and join a dynamic team in the computer security service industry!

The AP/AR Assistant position is a direct hire opportunity, with a hybrid schedule that requires onsite work the first week of every month and once a week during the rest of the month!

Responsibilities:
• Reviewing, coding, and entering vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval
• Understanding and processing invoices for 3-way and investigating differences
• Reconciling vendor statements and addressing any outstanding balances, credits or discrepancies
• Serving as a point of contact for vendor inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to resolve any payment related issues
• Assisting in document management
• Processing Employee Expense Reports and Vendor payments as needed
• Tracking 1099 and year-end reporting
• Reconciling and gathering receipts for company credit card programs
• Posting customer payments to open invoices as needed
• Acting as the primary back-up when needed.
• Performing other duties as required to support Accounting Department
• Helping with internal and external audits as required
• Performing other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
• MUST have advanced Excel (pivots and tables)
• 1+ year of AR/AP experience
• Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related field
