Work where you matter You Belong at Avera: Competitive pay, front-loaded PTO and options for free health insurance, sign-on bonuses, various shifts to fit your lifestyle and opportunities for career growth Avera is currently seeking Occupational Therapist (OT) looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings Position Highlights: • Paid Time Off (PTO) available on Day 1! • Options for Free Health Insurance! • Provide treatment to patients as they come for outpatient services in the therapy department • Able to work in a variety of areas including acute care, TCU/LTC, swing bed, pediatrics, outpatient adult • Avera St. Mary’s Named Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals Job Summary • Responsible to provide occupational therapy services to patients/clients, including assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication • Anatomy, physical science, stages of physical, cognitive, and psychological development, specialized techniques in evaluation and treatment of patients • Awareness of relative value and limitations of each piece of equipment • Clear understanding of indications and contraindications of various treatment modalities Education and/or Experience • Graduate of AOTA accredited college • Continuing education credits • Clinical internships, one or more years of practice as an OTR is preferred, but not required Licensure/Certification/Registration • CPR certification required • BLS Certification required Work Schedule • Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, occasional weekend/holiday; 80 hours every 2 weeks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
