Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery and management of patient care. S/he utilizes the nursing process, the healthcare environment, and current technology to provide a climate which optimizes patient care and staff development What qualifications you will need: • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 4 months of employment start date • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date • Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Registered Nurse Diploma • One year in area of practice preferred by not required No Travel Required Tulane Medical Center is a 235+ bed teaching, research and medical center serving the greater New Orleans area.
