Controller, Portfolio Finance Operations

Vaco has been engaged by local PE firm that partners with small to midsized Healthcare organization in search of a Portfolio Controller.

The Controller, Portfolio Finance Operations will oversee and support the accounting and finance function across to investment portfolio.
This could entail working with 2-3 portfolio companies simultaneously (at varying levels). Companies that need heavy support in setting up and maintaining the finance function in addition to putting systems, policies, and procedures in place.

Role Differentiators: You will be working at the private equity sponsor level, while supporting the growth and management of multiple companies at a time. You will get a unique (fast-track) experience that you would not get with a typical Controller role. Your voice and prior experience matter and will be key to the value you can bring to both the investment firm and partner company level. You will be working alongside the Finance Operations Partner with acquisition integrations and providing support, managing, and implementing processes within all areas under the controllership umbrella. This is a fast paced, entrepreneurial, roll up your sleeves type of role.


Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• 5-7 years of Accounting Manager or above, with a PE backed company (multi-site, a plus)
• Healthcare and understanding of revenue cycle metrics a PLUS!
