Mixer Driver

We offer that, great benefits and more: • Competitive Wages - With Increases - Earn $65,000 to $85,000+ Annually • Flexible 5-day Work Week • Comprehensive Benefits Package (including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, EAP & more) • 8 Paid Holidays, Accrued Vacation - No Waiting Periods • Safety Boots and Glasses - Annual Voucher If You Need It • A Rock-Solid Employer with An Enviable 110 Year Record of Success and One That Continues to Grow What You Will Be Doing Location: Pueblo Plant (2610 N Santa Fe Ave. Pueblo, CO) • Operate a ready-mix truck in urban areas and tight construction sites • Routine equipment maintenance • Contribute to keeping locations in and around the plant clean and hazardous free • Understand and Foster Safety Culture • Safely Drive and Obey All Traffic Laws • Truck Maintenance & Housekeeping • Learn our company safety protocol in order to execute work safely Reality of the Job Wage Range: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour plus OT • You might work long hours some days depending on the customer's project requirements • You will be expected to work Saturdays during peak season What We Need From You • Class B CDL (with air brake endorsement) • Clean Driver's abstract and record • Concrete mixer truck experience considered an asset • Understanding of the concrete products • Standard or manual transmission experience • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and be available on short notice • Successfully pass our pre-employment testing PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly outside and exposed to various weather conditions including hot/cold temperatures and rain/snow conditions • Employee constantly uses eye/hand coordination and near/far vision • Employee frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, bends, reaches, lifts to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs, utilizes manual dexterity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, color discernment and requires active hearing/listening • Employee is exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes and aggregate materials • Required PPE includes safety shoes above ankles, safety vests, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hats.
