Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to produce precision parts for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in machining, possess excellent mechanical aptitude, and be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Set up and operate manual machine tools to perform machining operations, including turning, milling, drilling, and grinding, to produce parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Tool Selection: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and other machine accessories required for specific jobs.
Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments to machine settings as needed.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, including oiling and replacing worn or damaged parts.
