Job Summary Provides a vital role in the laboratory. The primary responsibility is to provide accurate and timely results and to provide the best care for our patients. The Medical Lab Technician must be able to provide various testing in the area of chemistry, hematology, coagulation, bacteriology, serology, and blood banking Education and/or Experience • Associate's degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required • Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred Certification, Licensure, Registration • Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT required within one year of placement in the role Work Schedule • Varied Shifts • Rotating call, weekends and Holiday Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
