And with competitive compensation and total rewards, you'll also enjoy our a Bid Development Manager, you'll have the responsibility to be a liaison between internal and external customers.What you'll do: • Manages the RFP process from development of the strategy through contract negotiation for all long-term proposals • Ensure accuracy of contract tender approval process (costs, revenue, risk assessment, etc) • Prepare and present executive summary of bids for Sector and Corporate Executive approvals • Liaison between internal and external customers • Relationship development with external customers • Adherence to policies and procedures • Prepares contract language and works closely with legal to optimize contractual terms and conditions for StandardAero while assessing the associated risks with the agreement • Assists customer program managers as required with contract amendments, renewals, quarterly program reconciliations, etc • Monitors market trends within the assigned product responsibility. Provides responsive recommendations and insights for short-term and long-term planning in relation to proposal development • Responsible for awareness, interpretation, and compliance of relevant OEM Agreements as related to the Sales process • Works on other strategic initiatives as required • Responsible for management of assigned expense budget Relocation Provided: No (Willing to consider candidates anywhere there is a StandardAero facility) Position Requirements: • Strong technical and/or business acumen with finance management and/or technical experience • Experience with customer programs and/or building relationships with customers • University degree in business administration, commerce, economics, engineering; or equivalent • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills • Prior technical or finance experience in the aerospace industry is an asset, specifically with one or more of the following engine types - CF34 / CFM56 / PT6 / PW100 / AE3007 / APU's • Strong experience with Microsoft Office products • Travel is required.
