We currently have a direct-hire opportunity available for a Manufacturing Technician in the Pittsburgh area. This role offers a competitive salary, benefits, 401k, and PTO. This position would be onsite M-F 7-3:30. This is an overtime-eligible position.
Major Function:
Assemble electronic components from drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Major Responsibilities:
Education/Training:
Degree: Associate degree OR equivalent experience.
Major: Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or Industrial Automation Technology

- Assemble prototypes and small-run production of electronic components.
- Repair or replacement of defective components.
- Physical wiring
- Apply insulation and connect wiring.
- Testing of electrical fixtures.
- Process customer order shipments in IFS.
- Cycle counting component and finished parts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Training:
Degree: Associate degree OR equivalent experience.
Major: Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or Industrial Automation Technology
Skills:
- Manual Dexterity to Assemble Devices
- Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Analytical Ability
- Math Aptitude
- Wiring
- Organization
- PC Literate
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/ mechanical drawings and schematics.
