Paralegal - Litigation

Essential Duties:

-Must have attention to detail, critical thinking, oral and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Ensures accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local rules by meticulously editing and proofreading documents
- Possesses exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with sound judgment, including issue identification and escalation
-Monitor deadlines, manage and monitor cases to inform attorney when an action is needed
-Draft documents and filings as well as file documentation electronically with court system
- Provides support in various legal proceedings, including deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
- Demonstrates familiarity with litigation processes and utilizes eDiscovery software proficiently to manipulate and organize data for document production request

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ of related experience in a law firm or legal setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with eDiscovery software, preferably Relativity.
• Proficient command of the English language and standard grammar rules.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
