Job Opportunities

• SD License
• 1.5-years of experience minimum – 1 year must be in PCU level of care or greater
• BLS
• ACLS

• Will float in rotation with other travelers
• Float to Adult Inpatient Units - Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, ICU (depending on experience), Observation
• Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, vasoactive drips, insulin drips - both DKA and non-DKA, cardiac drips (titrating and non-titrating), continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance; Effective verbal and written communication, thorough physical assessments, strong clinical judgement, professional bedside manner, strong team player, positive attitude, adaptability
