Position Highlights: • Paid Time Off (PTO) available on Day 1! • Options for Free Health Insurance! • Positive Work Environment: Be part of an organization where we practice the mission in our daily operations and demonstrate our pride by delivering excellent care • Job Satisfaction: Each day you will positively impact each patient you serve Job Summary • The primary responsibility of the Respiratory Therapists to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), ventilator care, oxygen therapy, medicated aerosol therapy, pulmonary hygiene, blood gases, and other respiratory care procedures Education and/or Experience • Must be a graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Respiratory Therapy. • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist. • BLS, ALS, PALS, and NRP required within six months of employment. • Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter Licensure/Certification/Registration • Licensed with the NBRC as a Respiratory Therapist. • Proof of Iowa licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Work Schedule • Monday – Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks • 6:30 am - 4:00 pm • Availability to take calls PRN Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
