Direct Hire: Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician position summary: This positions primary purpose is to safely install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilities equipment • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities • Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance, carpentry and other facility repair or improvement functions • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision • Comply with all AIB regulations • Cleaning and general housekeeping of work area • Understand and follow all safety rules and procedures • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor Maintenance Technician Education / Training / Experience Required: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred • 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience • Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and industrial sills required • Must be able to read, write, and speak English • Must be able to lift and/or move objects over 75 pounds regularly ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
