What You’ll Do:

The Application Developer will be responsible for delivering across the entire applications life cycle, including the UI and backend design, build, deploy, test, release, and support phases. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly skilled in working with a SQL database and provide themselves as a massive resource for helping with business reporting as well as some focus in our Marketing department. The following includes more details on what you’ll handle on a day-to-day basis:

• Provide strong engineering to the team with a great attitude and passion to learn.
• Effectively deliver requirements within time constraints of the project.
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the IT team for project reviews and team building.
• Work within and support standard accepted development practices.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Explain technologies solutions to technical and non-technical stake holders with ease.

What We Need:

• Extensive amount of professional experience working with SQL, preferably with SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, REST API concepts with working knowledge of implementing these technologies.
• Good verbal and written communications skills; must have the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Must be able to learn and support other technologies to support the needs of the business.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Unit Testing for Mobile Apps
• API management tools (Mulesoft, Workato, etc…)
• Ability to minimally support a legacy VB6 applications
• Knowledge of Angular or Node.js a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods
• Requires the ability to move about inside the office
• Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and customers
• Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator and printer
