The Director of the Dual Credit Institute and Nontraditional Enrollment Pathways oversees all aspects of Bellarmine University's Dual Credit Institute (DCI) while also spearheading initiatives aimed at supporting adult learners, degree completion, and military-affiliated students through nontraditional enrollment pathways. The Director maintains strategic partnerships with private high schools, public school districts, and other organizations to expand and enhance dual credit enrollments, while also addressing the unique needs of adult learners and military-affiliated students. Collaborating closely with the University Registrar, Academic Affairs, Office of Military and Veteran Services, and other relevant departments, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering growth and accessibility within nontraditional educational pathways.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the admission and onboarding process for Dual Credit Institute (DCI) students, adult learners and assist with military-affiliated student recruitment.
- Onboard and train new partner institutions, including those catering to adult learners, fostering inclusive enrollment pathways.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner schools, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication to enhance collaboration.
- Manage MOU process with new partner institutions, ensuring alignment with Bellarmine University's mission and standards.
- Work closely with the VP for Academic Affairs and Provost or their designee to support, onboard, and advise adjunct dual credit faculty members on high school campuses, while also considering the needs of adult learners and military-affiliated students.
- Market and promote the DCI to high school counselors and administrators, highlighting opportunities for adult learners and military-affiliated students.
- Serve as the primary liaison to DCI strategic partners, advocating for the needs and interests of adult learners and military-affiliated students.
- Expand DCI course catalog in coordination with strategic partners, incorporating offerings that cater to the diverse needs and interests of nontraditional learners.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-4 years of experience in a high school dual credit, school administration, university administration, or corporate administrator role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptionally organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Bilingual proficiency, facilitating effective communication with diverse stakeholders, including nontraditional learners and their families
- Familiarity with Kentucky Dual Credit policies and challenges facing high school administrators, enabling informed decision-making and proactive problem-solving
- Sales or marketing experience is highly advantageous
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people, including high school administrators, faculty, staff, and community partners, fostering inclusive partnerships
- Advanced degree
