Senior Systems Engineer - #9818774

The Senior Systems Engineer will perform Engineering and Systems Operational support for Business Unit aligned functions including Application Support, Cloud Enablement, Environment Management, Digital tier & Web Operations, Platform Engineering and DMZ Network Operations. The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Math, etc.) required.

• 4-6+ years of hands-on experience deploying and/or supporting highly distributed multi-tiered systems at scale in the Cloud (AWS certification a plus)

• Experience Python, shell scripting, and Ansible/AWX

• Demonstrated ability to think abstractly, to apply reason to complex situations, and to express thoughts clearly and logically

• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies, delivery projects, and implementation.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/Docker

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated technologies

• Knowledge of basic networking (ping, traceroute, DNS)

• Experience with search and analytics engines (Splunk, Datadog)

• Experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems

• Ability to analyze the root cause of complex problems and to apply structured thinking/reasoning under pressure

• Experience with workflow design, data analysis, and requirements identification/specification

• Ability to provide 24x7 support for the production environments
