As an Associate Litigation Attorney, specializing in non-medical liability, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in various legal proceedings. You will work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to provide top-notch legal services and strategic counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on non-medical liability matters to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Assist in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide effective legal solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns or inquiries.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends pertaining to non-medical liability cases.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Delaware State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on non-medical liability cases preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, writing, and case analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in legal technology and software tools preferred.
