Job Overview

You will play a pivotal role in supporting instructors and students in utilizing multimedia lab technologies and resources. This position involves developing and delivering training sessions, providing technical support, and promoting the effective use of educational technologies.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to instructors and students on the use of multimedia lab technologies.

Conduct orientation sessions for multimedia lab users.

Develop and deliver training curriculum for FSI staff on instructional technology.

Collaborate with the support team to offer technical assistance in labs.

Design and deliver educational technology-based training programs for agency staff.

Support students and staff in accessing educational technology services on personal devices.

Recommend appropriate educational technology resources available online and within the agency.

Develop interactive job training aids to support curriculum.

Conduct needs analyses, develop training objectives, and collaborate on instructional treatment with Government program staff.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have a completed Public Trust Investigation and be eligible for future secret clearance.

Must be located in the DC/MD/VA metro area.

5+ years of general professional experience OR 2+ years of general experience AND 2+ years of related experience.

Knowledge and expertise in using educational technology in online and physical multimedia labs and classroom settings.

Experience with eLearning development products.

Familiarity with Video Teleconferencing technologies.

Technical mindset, aptitude, and experience.

Bachelor's degree in a field related to formal training pedagogy.

Preferred Experience

Master's degree in educational technology or a related field.

Understanding of HTML 5.

Experience with Learning Management Systems, such as Cornerstone.

Proficiency in eLearning authoring technologies and video editing tools.

Familiarity with learner engagement technologies and gamification.

Experience with survey tools.
