Position Overview

Join a vibrant and dynamic team dedicated to creating impactful learning experiences at a leading educational organization. We are looking for a Director of Curriculum Development to shape the future of our educational offerings in the Appraisal, Home Inspection, Land Surveying, and Professional Engineering professions. As a key member of our Valuation and Property Services division, you will play a crucial role in developing engaging and effective curriculum that empowers professionals in these fields to excel.

What You'll Do

Keep abreast of emerging topics, trends, and advancements within the professions we serve.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify educational priorities and strategic goals for curriculum development.

Ensure all curriculum meets state and professional regulations, filling any existing content gaps to meet learners' needs.

Network and recruit subject matter experts (SMEs) to author courses and training content, fostering innovation and expertise.

Develop a visionary curriculum roadmap that aligns with educational trends, instructional technology, and workforce demands.

Oversee curriculum implementation across various formats, ensuring timely progress and alignment with goals.

Provide guidance to project managers bringing courses to market, ensuring alignment with objectives, budget, and timelines.

Conduct regular evaluations to measure the impact of curriculum initiatives on student learning outcomes.

Collaborate with marketing and sales to promote new educational topics and attract learners.

Identify, recruit, and vet SME contractors, building strong relationships with authors, reviewers, and learners.

What You'll Need To Succeed

Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Curriculum Development, Project Management, or related field.

Minimum three (3) years of experience in curriculum development, higher education publishing, or related fields.

Strong understanding of current trends in education, instructional design, and pedagogy.

Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Creative problem-solving ability with a focus on anticipating future educational needs.

Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide project teams.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Experience in educational product development and course launch.

Knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies.

Passion for education and commitment to delivering high-quality educational products.

Background in the professions serves a plus (appraisal, professional engineering, home inspection, land surveying).
