Human Resources is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining AARP enterprise-wide human resource strategies, initiatives, policies, procedures and related systems. This includes employee compensation and benefits, organization design and integration, talent acquisition, talent development and employee relations.

The Recruiting Coordinator will collaborate with TA Managers and Recruiters, playing a crucial role in supporting recruiting operations, activities, and fostering candidate relationships throughout various stages of the hiring process, to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency throughout the recruitment and selection process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the post-offer acceptance process which includes working with the background check vendor, Recruiting Managers, and potential employees, as well as reporting on laptop provisioning and other delinquent onboarding assignments for the hiring manager.
  • Serve as the POC for the immigration process. This includes communication with AARP legal, potential employees, and external law firms.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to solve issues, contributes to workflow or process change, and forms a strong understanding of Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, updated, and compliant information in AARP’s applicant tracking system; accountability for candidate confidentiality processing relocation and sign-on payments
  • Provide a strong service orientation, informed decision-making, and efficiency in delivering quality results.
  • Stay current on HR technology, recruitment compliance, and privacy laws.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or an additional 2 years of relevant experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing recruiting operation duties or other functions in Human Resources.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and the entire Human Resources department.
  • Self-starter with adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, anticipate project needs, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office programs with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with MS Teams is preferred.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.

Compensation And Benefits

AARP offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including a 401(k); 100% company-funded pension plan; health, dental, and vision plans; life insurance; paid time off to include company and individual holidays, vacation, sick, caregiving, and parental leave; performance-based and peer-based recognition and tuition reimbursement. For this position, we anticipate offering a salary between $67,500.00 to $78,750.00 per year. This role is also eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan with a percentage up to 7.5%. Bonus eligibility is dependent upon organizational and individual performance
