We are seeking a talented and driven Product Owner/Product Manager with experience in data warehousing or related data domains to join our small but dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to shape the future of our data-focused products and drive their success in the market. Compensation Range: $110K - $145K
What you will be doing:
- Own the team backlog, prioritize stories and enhancements based on roadmap, customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Ensure the development team has a clear understanding of product goals and requirements
- Break down requirements into epics and user stories in line with Agile best practices
- Collaborate closely with engineering on decomposing epics into an implementation plan and work with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within budget
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Remove impediments and blockers that prevent the team from delivering on commitments
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including Users, Business, Engineering, Product, etc.
- Report on product development progress and performance metrics to stakeholders
- Support or lead product launch activities and ensure successful adoption by users
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices
- Experience as either an Agile product owner, scrum master, program manager, or po/pm preferably in a technology or software company, will be considered a bonus. Not required
- Self-starter with strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a small team of product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to accommodate US Pacific working hours.
- Bonus: Strong understanding of data management concepts, data warehousing, or related technologies.
