Junior Full Stack Developer React/Python - Remote Job, 1+ Year Experience

Annual Income: $60K - $65K

About The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing web applications using modern technologies and frameworks, with a strong focus on Next.js and React

Language: Fluent written and spoken english (Possibly CEFR B1 but ideally B2+)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, and other modern web technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces based on designs provided by our design team
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the development and production environments
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  
  

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong experience with Next.js and React
• Familiarity with server-side rendering and static site generation
• Capable of creating responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Comfortable working with the command line for managing git, kubectl, curl, and filesystem management
• Ability to set up and work in a local development environment using Kubernetes
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating them into web applications
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying web applications to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client, tRPC
• Familiarity with content management systems like Contentful or Strapi
• Understanding of web security best practices and experience implementing security measures
• Experience with web accessibility standards and implementing accessible web applications
