Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.

Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, and a paralegal certificate from a paralegal training program accredited by the American Bar Association, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
OR
Five (5) years of work experience as a legal assistant or paralegal.
OR
A Paralegal Certificate obtained from a training institution accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA), PLUS at least one (1) year of work experience as a legal assistant or paralegal.
OR
An Associate’s degree from an accredited college, PLUS at least two (2) years of work experience as a legal assistant or paralegal.
OR
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, PLUS at least one (1) year of work experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
OR
A Juris Doctorate from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA)
Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Possessing The Following

Essential Duties
- Monitor records management and provide records storage support.
- Provide guidance on Local Records Act compliance.
- Collects and organizes information and legal documents to respond to subpoenas and requests for medical records.
- Organize and maintain electronic document libraries.
- Respond to Requests to Admit.
- Indexes and files documents for record keeping purposes.
- Manages and delivers documents, including, but not limited to legal or proprietary documents, to outside counsel, as required.
- Trains and orientates paralegal staff in office methods and procedures, as required.
- Provide general administrative support for attorneys in the Office of General Counsel
- Additional support to the Office of General Counsel as needed.
