Accounts Payable Specialist - Deerfield Beach Area - Urgently Hiring! - #9828979

Are you looking to join a fun, innovative, and growing company? Look no further, We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. This role is for an accounting professional, with excellent aptitude and accounting skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
• Analyzing workflow processes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Coding and processing due invoices for payments
• Reconcile monthly statements for accuracy and ensure all invoices have been accounted for
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of progressively responsible financial record-keeping experience which has provided the knowledge and abilities stated in the position description.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or of something similar is highly desired
• Demonstrated experience with automated Accounts Payable systems.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Conscientious and persistent about performing timely transactions.
• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to research and probe for answers.
• High energy organized and efficient.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
• Strong verbal & written communication and time management skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with set deadlines.
