- Primary responsibility involves profitably developing our existing business through both volume gains and attracting new business.
- Develop strategic plans designed to accomplish the financial objectives of the division.
- Work with Business Managers to develop a cohesive, effective, and highly motivated sales force to achieve Acosta targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Clients to achieve their targets.
- Responsible for effectively communicating to retail community.
- Expense management.
- College degree and at least 10 years in sales or marketing positions of successively increased responsibility.
- Proven track record in a management level sales capacity with a food broker or major national packaged goods company.
- Prior experience must demonstrate proven sales skills along with the ability to successfully manage others.
- Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
- Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
- Solid understanding of the fundamental principles of financial management and possess the ability to effectively monitor and control expenses.
- Effectively communicate the company’s operating philosophy, goals, and objectives to all employees.
- Effective public speaker and be able to make persuasive presentations to principals and customers
- Willing to travel.
