We are seeking an experienced full-stack software engineering professional familiar with SAFe, Lean, Agile, and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices. Collaborating closely and continuously with fellow engineers, designers, product manager and product owners, you will help build, validate and release innovative software products early and often. You will continuously learn and mentor fellow team members.

Job Duties:

  • Meeting with the Product team to define the scope and scale of the product.
  • Designing system architecture.
  • Completing data structures and design patterns.
  • Designing and implementing scalable APIs and Microservices.
  • Writing high quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Troubleshooting and bug fixing.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the design team on developing micro-services.
  • Effectively use version control systems like GitHub to maintain and manage codebase changes, collaborate with team members.
  • Skillful creation and maintenance of technical documents, including design documents, user manuals, and API documentation.
  • Effective usage of deployment methodologies, CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications to various environments and provide necessary ongoing maintenance and updates.
  • Communicates openly and frequently with the team by being responsive to in-person or in-messaging tool prompts.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in the Lean, Agile, and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices.
  • Should collaborate closely with fellow software engineers, designers, product managers and product owners to help build, validate and release innovative software products early and often.
  • Should have strong experience with test driven development.
  • Continuously learn and mentor fellow team members.
  • Validate and release applications using continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
  • Work in collaborative environment including pairing and mobbing with other cross-functional engineers
  • Work on a small agile team to deliver working, tested software.
  • Work effectively with product owners, product designers and other technical experts
  • Take time to continuously learn and share with peers 10) Act as a mentor for less-experienced peers through your technical knowledge/leadership skills and advocate for technical excellence Developing exceptional UI/ APIs using frameworks & languages such as React, java and SpringBoot Experience/strong familiarity with cloud environments such as Google Cloud, Splunk, Dynatrace, Adobe Experience Manager, Tekton etc.

Skills Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of professional development experience with: JavaScript / TypeScript Spring Java or similar Object-Oriented languages
  • Have used continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc.)

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related scientific field
  • Expertise in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including: Paired programming Test-first/test-driven development (TDD) Strong understanding of clean code concepts Iterative development experience 2+ years mentoring engineers In-depth software engineering knowledge
  • Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g., GCP CloudRun)
  • Experience delivering products that include front-end web development Background with JavaScript, client-side MVC frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
  • Proficiency with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Tekton, Gradle, etc.)
  • Proficiency with RESTful API, GraphQL API standards/tools

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related scientific field
