The Position Proposition:

  • Lead a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators responsible for the successful and safe execution of our client’s project portfolio, including, but not limited to, engineering, construction, and installation.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Project Management team. Provide daily guidance and feedback on design, contracts, schedules, budgets, execution plans, etc., to ensure the Project Management team is on track to execute projects on time and budget.
  • Participate in team update meetings to receive project updates, assess project status, and provide necessary feedback to ensure projects are on track.
  • Lead project review meetings and make necessary recommendations to upper management and/or stakeholders to allow for the successful execution of our client’s project portfolio.
  • Participate in discussions with customers to ensure projects are appropriately scoped, and the team is positioned to execute the projects to customer’s satisfaction.
  • Understand laws and the Federal, State, and Local marketplace.
  • Provide strategic direction and input related to the business opportunities
  • Must know the market and understand where the market is going.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge

Educational & Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the telecommunications, construction, or utility industry and 5 years of management experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices within project management.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
