What You Will Be Doing

• Check and perform blast design
• Perform all aspects of surface blasting including loading production holes and/or pre-split, stemming, delaying, detonation, and blast inspection
• Operate equipment on smooth and rough terrain
• Maintain accurate blasting inventory of all explosive supplies
• Execute complete and accurate shot reports
• Conduct thorough pre and post-shift safety inspections of mining equipment
• Maintain site security during blasting operations
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• 5+ years of experience blasting in quarries
• Current Georgia Blasters license or ability to obtain
• Dedication to safety, following best practices and company policies
• Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate at all levels of the organization
