Hillstone Restaurant Group Inc. is searching for a Payroll Senior Accountant/Manager position based in Phoenix, AZ.  This position will have responsibility for In-House processing of multi-state payroll for ~4000 employees, along with research and special projects.   An Accounting degree, strong payroll experience, and software upgrade experience will be a plus.

The role will include, but is not limited to:

• Processing multi-state payroll
• Reconciling and estimating insurance payments and liabilities
• Preparing weekly, quarterly, and yearly reports and reconciliations
• Identifying and resolving payroll issues
• Managing payroll assistants
• Monitoring promotions, transfers and terminations
• Managing benefits, Cobra, Sick Leave and PTO accruals and writing policies
• Working with a 3rd party to ensure taxes are recorded and paid timely
• Ongoing special projects as they arise
