Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Billing and Coding Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in filing medical claims, handling denials, managing patient collections, and assisting with provider credentialing. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Submitting electronic and paper claims
Handling patient bills and collections
Posting electronic payments
Working with Medicare, Worker's Compensation, and Commercial insurance policies
Assisting with provider credentialing and maintaining up-to-date credentials
Collaborating with the Revenue Cycle team to ensure accurate billing processes
Requirements
3+ years of experience in medical billing (Preferred)
Experience With ICD-10 Coding (Preferred)
Strong understanding of medical billing procedures
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Evidence of continued learning to stay updated with billing/coding changes
Credentialing experience is a plus
Compensation
Hourly pay rate starting at $18-20 / hour based on experience
Bonus pay and incentive bonuses available
