We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative entry-level engineer with experience or interest in transportation engineering and bridges to work on challenging projects including bridges, retaining walls, dams, storm and traffic structures, inspections rehabilitations, load ratings, and assisting with construction engineering services. 

As a member of our bridge team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of transportation-related projects and work alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality results.

You will be responsible for providing basic project design through CAD drafting, performing research and writing technical reports, and traveling to job sites for observation, as needed. You will be able to collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers on projects that make a positive impact in our community while simultaneously offering you the ability to grow and pick up a wide array of skills.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Show initiative and has an inquisitive outlook towards solving problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis or closely related field.
  • Master’s degree, or in pursuit, a plus.
  • Ability to obtain Engineer Intern (EI) certificate within 6 months of employment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with technical writing.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D, a plus. 
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience.
