HR-Rethought is a small HR consulting company based in south Overland Park, KS with clients all over the KC metro area. We partner with small to midsize businesses and function as their HR and Recruiting team – just outsourced. Our clients cross all industries - from manufacturing to engineering to retail services.
We are growing and are looking to add an HR Coordinator to our team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and extremely organized.

As an HR Coordinator for HR-Rethought your role is to support our clients in anything and everything HR. Most of our clients have no idea what they need and that's where we come in!
A well-rounded HR background is key! As an HR Coordinator you will be touching ALL aspects of human resources. Expect anything and everything HR related. Every client is different, and every project is different.
HR Coordinator Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
HR processes and procedures
Updating/creating employee handbooks
Improving/creating onboarding and offboarding processes
Performance management, review program implementation, internal 360 surveys, etc.
Coordinate annual benefit enrollment
And more!
Time Management & Communication
Maintain multiple client email inboxes by checking a minimum of 3x daily
Consistent communication with your team on client needs, changes, updates
Assist in scheduling meetings, reviews, onboarding of new hires, etc. as needed for your team
Ability to multi-task and prioritize at a moment's notice
HR Administrative Support
Maintaining employee files in shared drives and/or HRIS systems, if applicable
Conduct and/or oversee new employee onboarding
Complete I-9 verifications, as needed
Complete employee verification requests
Create/Draft/Research various templates, forms, documents as required (offer letters, legal agreements, SOPs, handbook policies, and many many more!)
This position will require building client relationships and occasional on-site time.
Preferred Experience
1-3 years of human resources experience
Past success juggling a number of competing priorities and seeing them through to completion within deadlines

Must be willing to execute HR-Rethought’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
