Shipping and Receiving Coordinator - Pompano Beach Florida

This is a direct hire opportunity with an aerospace supplier. This role is for a small facility and you will be the only one in the shipping department.
What you will be doing:
- Handle and manage inventory within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming metals or products. This includes properly labeling and organizing items, recording inventory data, and updating inventory systems.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specific requirements. This involves locating items in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in product selection, and preparing packages for delivery
- Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and reporting any issues to supervisors or relevant departments.
- Load and unload goods onto trucks, pallets, or containers. Operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems may be necessary.
- Must have experience working with metals
- 3 plus years of experience
- Shipping or warehouse experience
- Hi Lo Certification or experience
- Experience with metal cutting
