We are seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) based in San Jose, California, responsible for overseeing all human resources practices and processes. This pivotal role ensures HR strategies align strategically with the organization's business plan and direction, fostering growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business strategy.
Foster positive management-employee relations, addressing demands and grievances.
Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
Support business needs through human capital development, engagement, motivation, and retention.
Manage a performance appraisal system driving high performance.
Ensure legal compliance across HR management.
Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CHRO or in senior HR executive roles.
Demonstrable expertise with HR metrics.
Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
Ability to architect strategy and demonstrate leadership.
Strong active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is advantageous.
