As a Senior Project Manager, your role encompasses several critical tasks. You are entrusted with delivering significant technology and business change initiatives that propel Thames’ progress toward achieving business area goals and desired outcomes. What you’ll be doing as a Senior Project Manager Work collaboratively and influence a wide range of stakeholders up to and including Director level The primary objective is to ensure successful project outcomes, this will involve meeting project goals within specific timeframes, adhering to budget constraints, and maintaining alignment with the project scope Given the collaborative nature of the role, financial and commercial expertise is essential, you will work closely with our supplier and finance teams to optimize project resources and costs You will support the Programme Manager in building the product roadmap and strategy aligning technology to business outcomes. With a product or technology / domain specific mindset ensure we deliver long term sustainable solutions, making sure that enduring support and continuous improvement are always considered in any project delivery Your approach to engaging with and build relationships across Operations and other business areas will be a strength of yours, as well as developing strong working relationships with digital colleagues from data engineering and technology engineering to architecture. You will have a mindset that is not only timescale focused but outcomes and value focused.

Demonstrable experience of managing complex projects with a mixture of internal and third parties Delivery of IT projects involving third party suppliers Experience of different delivery methodologies Degree qualification would be desirable Management of platform replacements involving significant business changeWhat’s in it for you?
