Inventory & Procurement Manager

Job Description

Westrock Coffee is seeking an Inventory & Procurement Manager with a strong track record in optimizing costs, managing inventory, and leading teams. Key responsibilities include overseeing equipment and parts procurement, aligning inventory with operational needs, and fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders (Sales, Field Service, Service Advisor, and Invoicing teams). The role also emphasizes continuous improvement in inventory management processes. An adaptable leader capable of driving operational excellence and supporting organizational goals through strategic procurement and effective team management.

The Inventory & Procurement Manager oversees the procurement and inventory management functions for the Equipment and Parts division. This role involves strategic along with leading the purchasing and warehouse teams to optimize costs and ensure efficient operations.

Job Duties:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for equipment and parts to support company objectives and optimize costs.
• Lead and mentor Purchasing Specialists and Warehouse Associates, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with sales teams to forecast demand and ensure the availability of equipment and parts to meet customer needs.
• Work closely with the field service and service advisor (dispatch) teams to align inventory with service schedules and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with the invoicing team to ensure accurate and timely billing for parts and equipment.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and inventory management to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualification

Qualififactions:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in an equipment or parts warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing procurement and warehouse teams.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments, particularly with sales, field service, service advisor (dispatch), and invoicing teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
