Job Summary

As a Glazier at Viva Railings, you will be primarily responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of all types of glass used in our various railing systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the craft and a commitment to delivering the highest quality workmanship to our customers.

Essential Job Functions

• Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine type, size, location, and quantities of materials required.
• Measure and mark glass and cut glass using glass cutters or computerized cutter.
• Install pre-assembled metal or glass frameworks for glass railings and other glass structures.
• Cut, fit, install, repair, and remove various types of glass, including tempered and laminated glass used in our railing systems.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure specifications are met accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and work in a manner that prioritizes health and safety.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with emergency repair services as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Glazier.
• In-depth knowledge of various types of glass and their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and dedication to quality.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
