THE POSITION

The Department of Land Use & Transportation (LUT) Administrative Services Division is hiring a Training and Development Analyst to join their team!

The Position

The Training and Development Analyst work s in partnership with LUT leadership, supervisors , and safety and emergency personnel, to plan, design, implement, assess, and administer comprehensive training and development programs to LUT staff. The person in this role oversees one direct report.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled communicator and is adept at working with all levels of staff, who provide public services including land use and transportation planning and permitting, engineering and surveying, capital project management, and road operations and maintenance. They have a passion for helping people with their professional development. Technically capable, driven to improve training and development processes within the department, and able to work collaboratively with other departments as well as external partners, the incumbent will be able to administer comprehensive training and development programs for all LUT staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, training and development, organizational development, human resource management, or a related field AND two (2) years of professional experience working with groups and individuals as a trainer, educator, career development coach or consultant, or facilitator; OR
  • Associates degree in business or public administration, training and development, organizational development, human resource management, or a related field AND four (4) years of professional experience working with groups and individuals as a trainer, educator, career development coach or consultant, or facilitator; OR
  • Six (6) years of professional experience working with groups and individuals as a trainer, educator, career development coach or consultant, or facilitator.

Additional Requirements

Selection Process
