We are looking for highly motivated, mature and positive professionals to sell both new ans used vehicles. Previous car sales experience is not required. We will pair you with one of our veteran sales consultants for on the job training after you have completed your GM certification training. You will also spend some time during your training in service to understand the importance of prospecting on the service drive as well as in the BDC to learn how to handle various types of sales calls

Vara Chevrolet opened its doors on January 6, 1990 in the southside of San Antonio. Since then, we have proudly served the automotive needs of the metro and surrounding areas with our straightforward hassle free pricing.
The values and ethics we operate ever day with can be traced back to the childhood years of the founder and President of the company, Doming Vara Jr. He learned the art of selling, the importance of taking care of his customers and the value of hard work from his father Domingo Vara Sr. who would take him door to door selling fruit they had purchased in the early morning from the Central Produce Market. His humble beginning formed a solid foundation for him and allowed him to fulfill his dream of owning his own dealership after starting off his career as a Professional Sales Consultant.

Requirements
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
Clean driving record with a valid non-suspended driver’s license
Background check and drug screen
Nurture enriching relationships to build clientele for life
Exhibit consultative selling skills. Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority. Know the in’s and the out’s of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies
Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles
Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business
Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations
Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses

Requirements
- Must be 21 to meet the minimum insurance requirement
- Able to work Monday thru Saturday with one day off during the week
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
Clean driving record with a valid non-suspended driver’s license
Background check and drug screen

- Maintain a high CSI and take care of your guests daily.
- Update your CRM tool daily
- Responsible for prospecting and setting appointments daily
